29 January 2024

It’s all true: NORDFLUID Spa, a leading distributor of hydraulic components, fluid conveyance and the production of hydraulic cylinders and manifolds for more than 30 years, with a projected group turnover in 2021 of more than EUR 40 million with more than 135 employees, has issued its first minibond of EUR 2 million.

Backed by the InnovFin guarantee of the European Investment Fund, the issue was fully subscribed by Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige. The transaction was finalised on Wednesday 8 September by Group CEO Daniele Brambilla, Group CFO Alberto C. Magrì and by Diego Pelizzari, General Manager of Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige.

We are very pleased (and honoured) to have concluded this transaction with Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige,’ said Engineer Mr. Daniele Brambilla, Group CEO NORDFLUID.

Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige offered its expertise in the role of advisor and arranger, providing invaluable financial advice and assisting the company in the drafting of business plans. In addition, it provided legal support for the formal and regulatory aspects and for the preparation of the loan regulations, and consequently also managed the activation of the European Investment Fund’s InnovFin European guarantee, from the initial agreements to the final stage of the issue of the bond.

Our bank followed the company with great interest in structuring the issue of their first minibond,’ said Diego Pelizzari, General Manager of Mediocredito TAA; ’I believe it is a strategic choice for an entrepreneurial reality such as NORDFLUID to approach the capital market using an innovative instrument such as this, which is useful for supporting corporate projects related to innovation and export. Also important is the presence of the European Innovfin guarantee, which we were able to activate thanks to the agreement in place with the European Investment Fund. .”

NORDFLUID’s objective is to support the development of its business model with major investments in logistics/distribution and production, in order to increase the flexibility of the company’s activities. Not to mention the boost that such a financial resource will give to technological innovation, which has always been at the heart of the NORDFLUID group, with a particular focus on projects to digitise business processes that are still very complex. A wise choice, especially in the long term, also aimed at consolidating NORDFLUID’s leadership in the market for the distribution of hydraulic products.

The bank proved to be a very competent and concrete partner. We are grateful to its staff for achieving this important result, which will allow the entire NORDFLUID Group to focus on the development of the 2021-2025 business plan. ‘added Alberto Carlo Magrì, Group CFO of NORDFLUID, who worked closely with Mediocredito TAA in the development of the transaction; ‘For us, this is a new challenge that enhances our virtuous growth path that began 14 years ago and represents a further evolution of the Group’s financial management.
