It is all true: NORD FLUID Spa, a leader for more than thirty years in the distribution of hydraulic components, fluid conveyance and in the production of hydraulic cylinders and manifolds, with an expected group turnover for 2021 of over 40 million euros and over 135 employees, has issued its first mini-bond of 2 million euros.
Backed by the InnovFin guarantee of the European Investment Fund, the issue was fully subscribed by Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige. The transaction was finalised on Wednesday 8 September by Group CEO Daniele Brambilla, Group CFO Alberto C. Magrì and by Diego Pelizzari, General Manager of Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige.
“We are very satisfied (and honored) to have concluded this transaction with Mediocredito Trentino Alto Adige,” declared Eng. Daniele Brambilla, Group CEO NORD FLUID.

In addition, it provided legal support for the formal and regulatory aspects and for the preparation of the loan regulations, and consequently also managed the activation of the European Investment Fund’s InnovFin European guarantee, from the initial agreements to the final stage of the issue of the bond.
‘Our bank followed the company with great interest in structuring the issue of their first minibond,’ said Diego Pelizzari, General Manager of Mediocredito TAA; ’I believe it is strategic, for a business entity like NORD FLUID, to choose to approach the capital markets using an innovative instrument like this, useful for supporting corporate projects linked to innovation and export. Also important is the presence of the European Innovfin guarantee, which we were able to activate thanks to the agreement in place with the European Investment Fund. .”
NORD FLUID’s objective is to support the development of its business model with significant investments in the logistics/distribution and production sectors, in order to increase the flexibility of business operations. Not to mention the boost that such a financial resource will be able to provide to technological innovation, which has always been close to the heart of the NORD FLUID group, with particular attention to digitalization projects for business processes that remain highly complex today. A wise choice, especially in the long term, aimed also at consolidating NORD FLUID’s leadership in the hydraulic products distribution market.
“The bank proved to be a very competent and reliable partner. We are grateful to its staff for achieving such an important result, which will allow the entire NORD FLUID Group to focus on the development of the 2021-2025 industrial plan. “, added Alberto Carlo Magrì, Group CFO of NORD FLUID, who worked in close collaboration with Mediocredito TAA for the development of the transaction; “For us, this is a new challenge that enhances our virtuous growth path begun 14 years ago and which represents a further evolution of the Group’s financial management.”
