NORD FLUID S.P.A., as Data Controller, in compliance with the provisions of art. 13 of the European Privacy Regulation 2016/679 (hereinafter also simply ‘GDPR’) is obliged to provide you, as the Data Subject, with due information regarding cookies and other tracking tools installed when you visit the Data Controller’s website, which can be reached at the following link: https://nordfluid.it.
A cookie is a small text and number file that is downloaded and stored in the memory of your browser when you visit a website for varying periods of time, depending on the needs for which the cookies are pre-set.
Cookies can be stored permanently on the user’s computer and have a variable duration (so-called persistent cookies), but they can also vanish when the browser is closed or have a limited duration (so-called session cookies).

1.PURPOSE OF PROCESSING
Each cookie used by the site corresponds to the corresponding functionality of the cookie, it being understood that the purpose of the cookies is to improve and help the user when browsing the website.

2.DATA PROCESSING METHODS – WHICH COOKIES OUR SITE USES
Depending on the purpose Cookies can be classified into:

  • Necessary Cookies or Technical Cookies: these are those cookies that enable navigation or provide a requested service to the user. This category includes cookies that automatically recognise the language the user is using, those that make authentication procedures to access restricted areas less complex and more secure;
  • Preference or navigation and functionality cookies: these collect information about your choices and preferences, allowing us to store language or other local settings and customise the site accordingly;
  • Measurement cookies: which allows us to collect data related to browsing traffic, to enable the Data Controller to analyse user behaviour, in order to improve the service offered;
  • Marketing cookie: which enables the collection of data relating to the user’s browsing of the Controller’s website, to draw up a profile of the user, in order to subsequently offer him/her advertising messages in line with his/her interests.

2.1.How to Manage Cookie Preferences
Necessary cookies cannot be disabled by the user as by their intrinsic function they are used to enable the user to navigate within the Controller’s own corporate website. All other cookies used by the Owner’s website (navigation, functionality, measurement and marketing), can be disabled by the user by rejecting the individual cookie from the banner that appears when accessing the site or, through the configuration settings of the navigation browser used (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Opera) to disable these cookies.

3.LEGAL BASIS OF PROCESSING, NATURE OF DATA PROVISION AND CONSEQUENCES OF REFUSAL
The provision of personal data for the purposes of cookies depends on the individual cookie used; the necessary or technical cookies are voluntary, but without which the site cannot fully perform its functions; navigation, functionality, measurement and marketing cookies require the user’s consent (Art. 6(a) GDPR) and serve to improve the browsing experience.

4.SCOPE OF DATA COMMUNICATION
The processed data will not be disclosed to other parties.

5. SCOPE OF DATA DISSEMINATION
Personal data are not subject to dissemination.

6.DATA TRANSFER ABROAD
Personal data within the scope of the purposes mentioned in point no. 1 may be transferred to Processors residing in European Union countries, if such transfer is functional to the provision of the services offered by the Controller. Moreover, in the event of data transfer to Third Countries (for example for the use of cloud platforms and/or for the storage of the same data) they will be processed in compliance with the provisions of Articles 44 et seq. of the GDPR.

7.RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT
Pursuant to Articles 15, 16 and 17 of the GDPR you may assert your rights by contacting the data controller.
In particular, according to Art. 15 of the GDPR you can obtain from the data controller

  • confirmation of the existence or otherwise of your personal data and their provision in intelligible form;
  • know the origin of the data
  • know the purposes and methods of the processing
  • know the logic applied to the processing;
  • to know the identification details of the owner and of the subjects to whom the data may be communicated;
  • the updating, rectification and integration of the data;
  • the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law.
    The data subject may object, for legitimate reasons, to the processing of data concerning him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection, and also has the right to data portability pursuant to Art. 20 of the GDPR.
